U.S. Army Central Celebrates Army's 247th Birthday With Ceremonial Cake-Cutting. The cake was cut using a replica M1913 Patton Sword, designed by then-2nd Lt. George Patton.

Death of U.S. ARCENT Soldier Shaw Air Force Base, SC – A Soldier assigned to U.S. Army Central was killed in a vehicle crash 13 March. The incident occurred near Hopkins, SC in Richland County. The cause of death is under investigation by the South Carolina Department of Public Safety. They can be contacted at (803) 896-8747 for further information.
