USARCENT/Egypt Strengthens Partnership in Bright Star 21

McKenzie, Jr., Commander, United States Central Command (USCENTCOM), receives a brief given by U.S., and Coalition forces participating in the Field Training exercise (FTX) during Bright Star 21 (BS21) at Mohamed Naguib Military Base (MNMB), Egypt, Sept. 11, 2021. BS21 is a multilateral exercise hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt with support from USCENTCOM. The exercise contains three key events: a Command-Post Exercise (CPX), FTX, and a Senior Leader Seminar. Toraj Rozbeh, an Information Operations Specialist currently deployed to Kuwait with the Army National Guard’s 29th Infantry Division, Task Force Spartan, U.S. Army Central, maximizes his ethnicity as an Afghan American to serve as an interpreter and cultural advisor for the Task Force Freedom command team during Operation Allies Refuge efforts. Rozbeh was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, but immigrated with his family to the United States via the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) process in 2015, and enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2017. Soldiers Deliver Baby during Afghanistan Evacuation Support in Kuwait

A team of U.S. Army Central medical Soldiers quickly adapted to assist an Afghan evacuee mother with the birth of her healthy baby at a safe haven location's medical facility in Kuwait in August.
