Afghan-American U.S. Army Soldier Supports Afghanistan Evacuation Efforts

Toraj Rozbeh, an Information Operations Specialist currently deployed to Kuwait with the Army National Guard’s 29th Infantry Division, Task Force Spartan, U.S. Army Central, maximizes his ethnicity as an Afghan American to serve as an interpreter and cultural advisor for the Task Force Freedom command team during Operation Allies Refuge efforts. Rozbeh was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan, but immigrated with his family to the United States via the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) process in 2015, and enlisted in the Army National Guard in 2017.
