1st TSC Soldiers Complete Mission: Advise, Assist, and Enable Iraqi Security Force Logistics

U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Howard Geck, commanding general, 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, visited Iraqi Army Brig. Gen. Mae'n, Iraqi Army National Western Track Repair Facility commander, at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 24, 2020.  Geck also toured the General Dynamics Land Systems facility where they conduct maintenance operations on the M1A1 Main Battle Tank and the M88 Recovery Vehicle. 



Accompanying Geck was Col. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends washing your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. The CDC also recommends disinfecting frequently touched surfaces, avoiding close contact with those who are sick, covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue, cloth, or the inside of your elbow and observing social distancing guidance. U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, and UAE Armed Forces conduct a bilateral live fire exercise utilizing American and Emirate High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers at Al Hamra Combat Training Center, United Arab Emirates, March 16 to the 24th, 2020. Iron Union 13 is an FTX culminating into a combined arms live fire exercise (CALFX) with one U.S. Company/Troop, integrated fires and one UAELF Reconnaissance company in UAE. Participating UAE and U.S. forces are tasked organized into a single combined battalion level task force for operations. The combined battalion level task force establishes an integrated command post staffed with officers from both nations.

Washington-based 301st MEB assumes authority of Area Support Group-Jordan

On Sunday, the 655th RSG of Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts, transferred authority of Area Support Group-Jordan to the 301st Maneuver Enhancement Brigade of Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington. The 301st MEB joined the 1st Squadron, 303rd Cavalry Regiment, Washington National Guard, which has been in Jordan since November.
