The Pennsylvania Army National Guard unit’s headquarters and headquarters battalion assumed responsibility from its counterpart, the 35th Infantry Division which is comprised of soldiers from the Missouri and Kansas National Guard. The 28th’s HHBN will serve as a division headquarters for roughly 10,000 soldiers conducting theater security operations in the Middle East.

Inferno Creek 2018 is an annual Omani-U.S. exercise focused on building bilateral ties between the two militaries. This is the first time the exercise was held at the company level.
