1st TSC Soldiers Complete Mission: Advise, Assist, and Enable Iraqi Security Force Logistics

U.S. Army Brig. Gen. Howard Geck, commanding general, 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, visited Iraqi Army Brig. Gen. Mae'n, Iraqi Army National Western Track Repair Facility commander, at Camp Taji, Iraq, Feb. 24, 2020.  Geck also toured the General Dynamics Land Systems facility where they conduct maintenance operations on the M1A1 Main Battle Tank and the M88 Recovery Vehicle. 



Accompanying Geck was Col. Gerald Newman, 108th Sustainment Brigade commander, Task Force Lincoln, Team Blackhawks, Illinois Army National Guard, who are executing the logistics advise, assist, and enable mission under the 1st Theater Sustainment Command supporting Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve to continue building the sustainment capability of the Iraqi Security Forces. Deployed National Guard Soldiers commemorate Dachau Liberation with WWII Veterans

Dobbs, now 99, participated in a Dachau concentration camp liberation commemoration teleconference April 29, 2020 with the commander of the modern-day 42nd Infantry Division, sharing his memories of liberation.
