Sgt. 1st Class Christiana U. Charles, a financial management technician deployed with the Kaiserslautern, Germany, based 266th Finance Support Center, completes a plank at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, on Oct. 23, 2021. The close to 13-year Army veteran said she had a lot of apprehension about the plank, an alternate exercise for the leg tuck in the Army Combat Fitness Test, but faced her fears by training in her barracks room several days a week. Charles can now hold the plank for two minutes, fifteen seconds.

401st Army Field Support Brigade provides post-HKIA retrograde support

Humvees belonging to Fort Bragg, North Carolina, based Delta Company, 1st Battalion, 504th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, lined up Sept. 1, 2021, in a lot at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, to be accounted for by Army Field Battalion-Southwest Asia, 401st Army Field Support Brigade before rolling out to the camp's wash rack and final disposition and shipment back to Fort Bragg. Delta Company provided support to evacuation operations at Kabul’s Hamid Karzai International Airport as part of Operation Allies Refuge.
