As Theater Army and Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC), USARCENT enables the Joint Force in named operations and partners with regional land forces to build enduring coalitions that CONSOLIDATE gains against Violent Extremist Organizations (VEOs), COUNTER Iranian malign influence, and COMPETE against Russia and China; while simultaneously RESETTING the Theater for future operations and READY to prevail in crisis response and contingency operations in support of USCENTCOM.

Suter receives prestigious Surgeon General’s Award for Military Academic Excellence

Maj. Gen. William Lee, commanding general, 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support), presents the Maj. Gen. Lewis Aspey Mologne Award to Col. Robert E. Suter, commander, 3rd Medical Command (Deployment Support) Forward, at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, April 20, 2017. Suter was selected by the Office of the Surgeon General to receive the award. It is presented annually to one Active and one Reserve Medical Corps officer who the selection board feels best emulates Mologne by exhibiting a balance between outstanding leadership in military medicine and leadership in academics on a national level.
