The ETOE originated in September 2015 for the sole purpose to enable the Army to conduct terminal operations in theater

Reinforcing partnerships through quarterly MEDEVAC meeting

U.S. Army Lt. Col. Ron Wells, the commanding surgeon for Area Support Group- Kuwait presents Kuwait Army Col. Waleed Malalla, the director of the Kuwait Armed Forces Hospital and the acting chief of medical services, with a certificate of appreciation after a Medical Evacuation meeting hosted, for the first time, at KAFH, March 5. This meeting is one of many partnership events that U.S. Soldiers, Airmen and Kuwaiti soldiers and airmen participate in together. Practical exercises such as mass casualty events and medical evacuations are the stepping stones used to elevate the partnership.

Life as an Army Mariner

Army Mariners with the 411th Transportation Detachment onboard the Army logistic support vessel Maj. Gen. Charles P. Gross, conducted cargo operations in the Arabian Gulf 19-23 Jan., 2017. The crew hauled cargo to Qatar from Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait and transported another load during the return trip. While underway the crew practiced several maritime emergency exercises including man overboard, fire, and battle drills. The crew consisted of watercraft operators, engineers, cooks, and medics, although each member is trained to perform several tasks outside the scope of their duty specialty in case of an emergency situation. Junior Officers visit Historic Kuwaiti Site

Junior officers stationed at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, toured the Al Qurain Martyrs’ museum and the Kuwaiti Towers, Jan. 20, 2017 as part of the junior officer’s leadership professional development at U.S. Army Central. The U.S. Army officers learned about the historic significance of that site, the role the U.S. played, and the importance of the Kuwaiti people’s perseverance.

Building towards better efficiency, quality of life

Soldiers from the 176th Engineer Brigade of the Texas Army National Guard, also known as Task Force Chaos, build the steel frame of a two-story modular unit Jan. 11, 2017, which will have the capacity to hold 160 individuals with 20 climate controlled rooms on each floor at Camp Redleg in Southwest Asia. This is a U.S. Army Central Command directed project to enhance the quality of life and save millions of dollars in the future with energy cost savings and troop labor.
