Young-at-heart linguist, 82, completes 28-mile "March For The Fallen"

Rubaye, the oldest participant, posted a time of 10 hours and 19 minutes. James, a medic with 1st Squadron, 18th Cavalry Regiment, 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, California National Guard, walked the last 11 miles with Rubaye as a safety precaution.

The 155th ABCT is in the Arab Republic of Egypt taking part in Exercise Bright Star 18, a multilateral U.S. Central Command training exercise. Bright Star 18 provides an opportunity for U.S. Central Command to pursue better ways to address specific threats to regional security at the tactical, operational, and strategic levels with their Egyptian and other regional partners.
