Soldiers, Airmen Join Qatari Counterparts to Celebrate Iftar

Soldiers from Area Support Group-Qatar gathered in Doha, Qatar, to celebrate iftar, the traditional Ramadan breaking of the daily fast meal. Soldiers and other service members as well as Families were invited by the Qatari armed forces International Military Cooperation Authority to attend the meal to celebrate the cooperation between the two nations.

Serving Our Troops Visits Kuwait

More than 40 volunteers from Minnesota flew halfway around the world to serve a steak dinner to Soldiers of the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division deployed to Camp Arifjan in Kuwait this evening. At the same time, the Twin Cities-based Serving Our Troops organization is serving a steak dinner to family members and friends of the Soldiers back home at the Saint Paul RiverCentre. As Soldiers and their families enjoy steaks donated by a number of Twin Cities restaurants, a live-video feed has connected the two sites, giving troops and their loved ones the opportunity to enjoy dinner together. During this evening's event, Serving Our Troops, which has been supporting military members and their families for 15 years, served its 100,000th steak.

408th Contracting Support Brigade Hosts Annual Combating Trafficking in Persons Forum

The brigade provides operational contracting support to U.S. Army Central (USARCENT) by preparing and coordinating support plans, providing oversight, assessment, policy and acquisition authority to assigned contingency contracting organizations and contract assets. These types of forums show that USARCENT builds cohesion and assures allies and partners of its shared vision and unity of purpose of stability in its areas of operations.

Task Force Spartan Soldiers perform an Emergency Deployment Readiness Exercise

The United States Air Force transports the vehicles and equipment to Soldiers from the Minnesota Army National Guard’s 34th Red Bull Infantry Division as they conduct an emergency readiness deployment exercise in Jordan on May 3-10, 2019. The exercise demonstrated the division’s ability to set up a tactical command post and show their ability to perform command and control from a forward deployed location. As the lead element for Task Force Spartan, the 34th Red Bull Infantry Division works to strengthen partnerships in the region by building upon and leveraging existing relationships.
