Chief Warrant Officer 2 Michael Blunt, mobility officer, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, wins the national championship in the 45-49 age group of the Masters United States of America Track and Field. Blunt won a gold medal after placing 1st in the 100, 200, and 4x100 meter relay. He also won a silver medal in the 4x400 meter relay. He finished the outdoor season, which runs from March through July, ranked #1 in the country in individual events, including 100 and 200 meters and top three in the world in his age bracket.
