U.S. Army Central Celebrates Army's 247th Birthday With Ceremonial Cake-Cutting.

(Left to Right)  USARCENT Commanding General, LTG Ronald Clark, LTC Kenneth Boes, SPC Archie McParland, and CSM Carlos Evans cut the cake during a ceremony at Patton Hall.  The cake was cut using a replica M1913 Patton Sword, designed by then-2nd Lt. George Patton.

U.S. Army Central memorializes remarkable Red Ball Express

In this undated photo, a U.S. Army Soldier poses next to a sign indicating the Red Ball Express route. The 82-day operation was a critical logistics effort during WW II to supply the First and Third Armies as they advanced across France.  At its peak, the Red Ball Express delivered 12,500 tons of supplies per day.

U.S. Army Central announces Career Counselor of the Year

U.S. Army Central leadership congratulated Staff Sgt. (P) Abelardo Gonzalez of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, for earning the USARCENT 2020 Career Counselor of the Year title, Dec. 8.

The announcement followed the Army Service Component Command’s two-day virtual competition held Dec. 7-8, which featured a packet evaluation to include a previously completed Army Combat Fitness Test, a written examination, and a virtual board.
